As a kid, I always liked action figures and used them to create “short animations” with an old camera that I could then playback and enjoy. When I had my first contact with video games I was amazed at the possibilities of interaction when controlling a digital character.
When I started to think about what I would do to make a living, I knew that I had to do something that involved animation and video games, so I followed my passion and took a game design program back in Brazil.
After learning how games are made, I got more interested in the character animation within the game and decided to take a course at Vancouver Film School to improve my skills in 3D animation. During the learning process, I became very interested in character rigging too.
I love action video games, and the production pipeline, and learning how to use the necessary tools to make my imagination come to life.
